Patient Success Stories

Eric Bjornson, Former Tight End, Dallas Cowboys

Dear Dr. Alderman and Staff

When I came to you for help, I was hardly able to move my left shoulder. I was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff as well as suffering from tendinitis in both of my knees. I was told by surgeons that I had no chance of healing without surgery on my shoulder. I was very much in pain that I had great difficulty sleeping at night and my ability to work out was non-existent. I must admit that I was feeling very desperate because I have spent the last 25 years working out and taking great care of myself. I knew that many of these shoulder surgeries didn't end up working out very well, so I was looking for an alternative solution.

At a health conference that I attended, I met with a company that developed the centrifuge machine that is used in PRP therapy. I was curious as to who I would see about PRP therapy in the Los Angeles area for treatment. They recommended you right away and said that if they were having an issue themselves, they would be coming to see you.

When I came in to see you, I really felt good about your ability as a physician. Therefore I put my trust and confidence in you and preceded with the PRP injections. Each time I had an injection I noticed improvements until I was completely healed over the next few months.

I am back to training as hard as I ever did in my life and happy to report that I am pain free and sleeping well. I am so pleased to be fully recovered and hope you will show this letter to anyone who has any doubts in PRP therapy. It is a possibility that I will end up with more injuries in the future, but at least I know that I have found a great place to come to receive the greatest care that I have ever known.

Thanks for giving me my life back!
Yours truly,
Dan Holtz

With a three-year-old son, too, I was not doing well.”
